Patricija Rot has particularly extensive experience and knowledge in the field of distribution and similar arrangements with respect to which she acquired her Master’s degree in 2016 (her master’s thesis addressed certain issues related to the termination of distribution agreements).

Competition Law advisory services include the analysis of business practices and the assessment of their compliance with competition rules as well as the review of agreements and business models, and their legal assessment from competition law perspective, merger notifications and representation before competition authorities and courts. Competition Protection Supervisory Authorities are not active only in the field of restrictive agreements between the companies conducting business on the same relevant markets (horizontal relations) and the abuse of dominance. There is increased enforcement in the field of so-called vertical restraints (i.e. agreement or concerted practice in business relations between entities which operate at different levels of the production or distribution chain). It is therefore important that the management and supervisory bodies of commercial entities as well as all the employees are well aware of the competition rules and strictly apply them when performing their business activities so as to ensure that all the business practices applied are in accordance with the competition rules. The fines to which the companies are exposed due to infringement of competition rules are very high.

Advice is provided in simple real estate transactions, daily activities related to the business with real estate (such as regulation of lease agreements with lessees/lessors etc.) as well as in complex real estate transactions.  Our approach is based on detailed and comprehensive analysis of client's interests and goals, and on this basis we advise and create solutions that are tailor-made to the needs of a particular client (at each stage of a project or regulation of relationships).
